I totally get this feeling. I have high anxiety myself and the thought of having to file bankruptcy would be a hurdle that would not be easy for me to jump. How many of us wind up on broken roads we did not expect? If you are honest with yourself you would say every single one of us. So many of us have the best of intentions but one little thing gets in our way—the fact that we are human and make mistakes and live in an imperfect word with imperfect bodies. I am very thankful the world is not perfect—how utterly boring would this be!? And yet you have no reason to be embarrassed about being human either. Bad things happen to good people all the time. There is no shame in this. If you are feeling embarrassed about considering filing a bankruptcy, I challenge you to please stop beating up on yourself!
