Kain & Scott Employees at Salvation Army.pngBankruptcy is our core – it’s not just what we do, it’s all we do. We believe it is a tool that should be used to help people get their lives back. Most clients come into our office feeling hopeless, helpless and defeated, but leave feeling invigorated and free. Bankruptcy allows debtors to recover and rebuild after a financial crisis, or in other words, get their lives back. However, our commitment to our clients does not stop at the filing of their bankruptcy case.

Our passion for helping people get their lives back extends beyond bankruptcy and debt help. We live and work in the communities we serve, and we are dedicated to contributing to the well-being of our neighbors, family and friends.

One of the ways we do this is by supporting programs, organizations and events that assist community members in getting their lives back and finding a fresh beginning. Below are a few of the community organizations that we support that help individuals who are experiencing financial problems get back on their feet and find their path to financial well-being.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army’s mission is to clothe, to comfort and to care for individuals and families. By fighting hunger and poverty, the Salvation Army helps rebuild broken homes and broken lives. When we think about the Salvation Army, most of us probably think about the little red kettles at Christmas time. Through these donations and others, the Salvation Army is able to help families and individuals throughout the year.

Some of the programs for adults include prison ministries, elderly services, adult rehabilitation services and veteran’s affairs services. Families and children find help through hunger relief, homeless services, youth camps and recreation and Christmas programs. We are proud to support the Salvation Army as they touch the lives of the people in St. Cloud each day.

Anna Marie's Alliance

Anna Marie’s Alliance works in our community to stop domestic violence. This non-profit organization provides a safe place for women and children who are the victims of domestic violence in our community. Here they can find shelter, food and resources to rebuild their lives and find hope for a brighter future, without domestic violence. We are proud to support Anna Marie’s Alliance and are excited about the new Pet Shelter and Children’s Education Center that are being constructed.
You can reach Anna Marie’s Alliance at 320-253-6900. We encourage you to contact Anna Marie’s Alliance if you or a loved one is the victim of domestic violence.

St. Mary's Cathedral Annual Block Party

This annual fundraiser is a great way for people to get together with others in our community to enjoy a day of fun, music and food. The annual event is free and open to everyone in our community. Bring the family and enjoy live music and children’s activities. It is a great time for the entire community and reminds us all why we love living in St. Cloud.
